is it just me … or programmers at orkut are lacking some basic knowledge of english grammar ??

    I think this happens when the search indices drop the ‘gender’ field. I’ve seen this happen intermittently on the search aggregators I’ve worked with. Using a feminine pronoun is typically the convention when you don’t know the gender of the person.

    It’s software after all!
